How are you? I know you said in your last letter that you weren't sleeping well, so I thought I should check to see if everything was all right. We've got to make sure the Ahimsa's own hero is at his best, after all!
Not that paperwork isn't brutal. We never see the end of it around here, either, but I guess that's just how life is. At least you get to go out into the city. It must be great taking down those Undesirables and knowing you're protecting innocent lives. Some days I wish I was in that line of work, but I don't think my nerves can take it.
I do love my job here, of course, so I can't complain. Besides, if I didn't work here, I never would've met Elliot.
Wait, that's right. I haven't told you about him yet, have I? He actually reminds me a lot of you. I think it's because he talks like you do. He's always so calm and collected, not like all the other guys I've met, and he looks really well put together. I just worry about him sometimes because he doesn't seem to talk all that much or even smile, but I can tell he's a good person.
The other day, though, he came over just to talk to me. Can you believe it? All the other girls said they were jealous, but I don't think I'm anyone special. He was probably trying to be nice is all.
I probably shouldn't ramble, should I? I'm sure you have a lot better things to do, and my boss is always telling me I talk too much as it is. Maybe I should try and be more like Elliot...
Anyway, please write back soon! I know you must be busy, but I really like getting your letters.

I know that, when the actual story is taken into account, this seems really out of left field. I just have a crippling compulsion to write for characters that no one gives a flying fuck about. Like Eli's cousin- who's name we're never told and who's photo is now in a landfill outside the city limits.
I actually had to edit out a lot of things because I wasn't sure how much has been posted and how much are things I've heard during Digi and Hoseki's brainstorming sessions. However, I tried to make it so that if you squint, you might be able to see the cracks. Maybe.
Either that or I'm just as much of a hack as Ellis.
